Sports Day at No1 CopperPot!

Three members of staff took part in the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 28th May; Lisa Ridgway, Jo McGrann and Ben Rawson. Jo ran to raise money for the MS Society and to help her raise further funds we organised a No1 CopperPot sports day to raise some extra! Sports day took place on Friday before the run, with staff given the option to wear a type of PE kit and get involved in some old school sports day games! During the day staff were involved in a good old egg and spoon race, a skipping race and a three-legged race. All of which were spread throughout the day to make sure there was enough of our staff to answer your calls – of course!

We split the office in half with a Blue Team and a Yellow Team – to keep in line with our No1 CopperPot colours. Tensions were high as everyone got into the competitive spirit but the Yellow Team came out on top! Well done, Yellows! Although it was a fun day at the office, it was designed to meet the aim of raising more money for charity and did just that. Our generous staff helped Jo to raise an additional £165 on the day, enabling her to raise a grand total of £1,030!!!
