This afternoon, we hosted our first ever virtual Annual General Meeting and we would like to thank all of our members who took part. Here’s an overview of the key information for those who were unable to join us.

A message from Caroline Domanski, our CEO:

“From everyone here at No1 CopperPot Credit Union, thank you to each and every one of our members who have continued to serve their community, protecting the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. I would also like to express my deepest sympathy to the families of our members who have lost their lives to the virus and anyone else who has been personally affected.” 

A robust and sustainable business
As your Credit Union reaches its 35th year, we’re in a stronger position than ever, holding capital reserves in excess of the regulatory minimum. This strong position allows the Credit Union to navigate successfully through uncertain times, such as the current economic environment.

We are pleased to announce we are paying our members a dividend in this financial year, and the rates are as follows. Dividend payments will be processed as soon as possible and you should receive your dividend in the relevant accounts within the next 24 hours.

 

 

Reducing the cost of borrowing

Looking after our members is our No1 priority, and we know that 2020 has been a difficult year for many, which is why we decided to make borrowing with us even more affordable. We reduced rates on our Member Loan, Student Officer Loan and Loyalty Loan to assist our members through a tough time.
