Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Mortgages are secured on your home. Our mortgage products can change or be withdrawn at any time and are subject to underwriting.

You can start your application however you wish, whether you would prefer to visit in person, talk over the phone, via email or video chat. This page should give you some options on how to get the ball rolling.

Understanding the process

Step 1We will need some initial information from you to understand what you’re looking for, if you’re eligible, and subject to finding out if we can help, we’ll complete a credit reference check and affordability assessment for you. You can start step 1 by contacting us via email, phone, in person, or requesting a call back.
Step 2Once we’ve established your affordability, a Fact Find call will take place. This is a chat with a Mortgage Adviser to gain all the details we need to understand your mortgage requirements. This is likely to take place over the phone or video call, and we suggest having up to 1 hour available to chat to us.
Step 3Once we have all the information we need to understand which of our mortgages may be suitable for your needs, we can recommend a product and complete the required verifications. After this point, we would move to valuation and a formal offer to progress your house purchase or remortgage.

Are you a first-time buyer?

If you’re a first time buyer you may want to start the application process by requesting an Agreement In Principle (AIP). This can give you an idea of how much we could potentially lend to you. This will be personally assessed by a Mortgage Adviser and sent to you directly. From then on, you can agree to go ahead with the agreement and undertake a full affordability assessment as you begin your official mortgage application.
