Friends of No1 CopperPot is a society which offers a monthly lottery exclusively for Credit Union members who reside within Great Britain and are aged 18 or over. The money raised through the lottery gets distributed as monthly prizes for members, charitable donations to the wider Police Family, and supports the development of the Credit Union too!

What can you win?

The lottery pays out a jackpot of £2,000 every month, plus a range of other prizes totalling £10,000. Every March and September, one lucky winner receives a brand new car or £10,000 tax free, the choice is yours!


Rules of play

  • The cost is £1 per entry and you can purchase up to 10 entries per month. 
  • Payment of your lottery entries will be by Direct Debit or payroll deduction.
  • You must be a member of the Credit Union aged 18 or over and residing within Great Britain are eligible to join the lottery. If your main residence is in Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or anywhere else outside Great Britain, you are not eligible to enter the lottery.
  • The lottery draw takes place on the last Friday of each month, and this is when the funds will be deducted from your lottery account. If the last Friday of the month falls on a Bank Holiday, the draw will take place on the next working day.
  • Prizes are paid to the winning member’s account within seven working days of the draw.
  • Prizes will always account for at least 30% of net ticket sales.

Twice a year we shake things up to make it interesting. In March and September, one lucky winner will receive a new car or £10,000 tax free, the choice is yours. Please note, the new car is up to the same value as the cash prize.
