Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is one of the most important events in our calendar. It’s the time when all of our members, the owners of No1 CopperPot, come together to celebrate what we’ve achieved, hear about our plans for the future, and help shape the direction of the credit union.

This is your meeting, your voice, and your opportunity to influence how we continue supporting the policing community and our members.

What Is an AGM

Our AGM is a meeting for all members. It provides a clear and transparent overview of our performance over the past year.

At the meeting, our Board of Directors, including non-executive directors and the executive team, share updates on our achievements, challenges and financial performance.

Members who register to attend virtually or in person, can vote on key matters such as Board elections and the annual dividend rate. Every vote counts and every member has an equal say in how the credit union is run.

Ownership matters.

Our AGM is more than a yearly meeting, it is a reflection of who we are. As a financial mutual, owned by our members and shaped by the policing community we have proudly served for almost forty years, everything we do is for you.

We’re transparent, democratic, and accountable. When we perform well, it’s our members who share the rewards, not external shareholders. This spirit of mutual support is what sets us apart from traditional banks and it is a difference we will always protect.

What you can expect at our AGM

  1. Reports from the board of directors and leadership team

    You’ll hear updates on:

    • Our financial performance over the past year
    • Board activity report highlighting major achievements and progress
    • Audit and Risk Committee report showing how we have managed risk, compliance and internal control
    • Independent audit report presented by external auditors along with the audited financial statements
  2. Election of directors. Members vote to elect or re-elect the people who represent them on the Board of Directors.
  3. Voting on resolutions

Members vote on important proposals that require approval such as changes to the rulebook.

  4. Member question and answer session

Members are invited to ask questions, provide feedback and discuss any matter relating to the work of the credit union.

  5. Strategic updates and announcements

The leadership team will share future plans, new initiatives and the strategic direction of the credit union for the year ahead. Please note that this is a typical outline and not a full agenda. Our full agenda will be posted on our website week commencing the 10th November 2025.

Why should you attend?

Attending the AGM gives every member the chance to take an active role in the credit union they own.

By attending you can:

  • Stay informed about our financial results and upcoming plans
  • Use your vote to influence key decisions
  • Connect with fellow members, directors, and our leadership team
  • Help ensure we continue to act in your best interests and deliver value for our members
