Update from the CEO

During this uncertain time, we are preparing for different scenarios dependent on current ongoing government advice on Covid-19. Our key concerns are keeping staff safe whilst still being able to offer services to help our members financially.

Your membership with us

We have an extensive plan if we are forced to go into isolation. This will allow many of our services to remain operational, albeit at a reduced level. We will aim to give the best service possible, although I would ask that you remain patient with us.

Contacting us in the event of lockdown

The most effective and simplest way to request withdrawals is through our website as we may have limited staff to answer phone calls. We will make a temporary phone service available if countrywide isolation is enforced. You may not be able to use our usual phone numbers and I would ask that you check our website for the most up to date contact details. Our webchat facility will remain fully functional during this time.

Our lending will continue, and we will do everything we can to ensure loans are processed in a timely manner. However, if we are in full isolation then decision times could take longer than usual. If a loan is urgent, I would advise you to make us aware of this situation. If it is not urgent, please be patient as we will continue to return decisions to you as soon as possible.

Keeping our members informed

We will communicate any changes that may impact our members in relations to service. Please look out for these by email, news updates on our website and social media posts.

Our aim is to maintain business as usual and we are continually monitoring the situation to ensure members can access our services over this difficult period.
