What we’re looking for

We’re recruiting for a Loans Officer and a Debt Recovery Officer to join our office in Cheadle, Cheshire. If you’re passionate about helping people and working within a friendly and efficient team, this may be the job for you. Job Vacancy: Loans Officer
What we’re looking for

This role is primarily involved with assessing loan applications, ultimately being responsible for the loan decision. You will specialise in providing loan facilities with the responsibility for loan sanctioning, whilst working in the members’ best interest. You will take into account the individuals circumstances and guide them through the process. We would like someone who is organised and can work independently, with prior lending experience. Although this is not primarily a member facing role, there will be times when you will need to have phone and face-to-face conversations. We want someone who enjoys offering quality customer service.

Job Vacancy: Debt Recovery Officer
What we’re looking for

We’re recruiting for a Debt Recovery Officer to help manage delinquent unsecured loans and mortgages alongside supporting members who may be struggling with repayments due to a change in circumstances and/or financial difficulties. They will be required to monitor and analyse trends in delinquency portfolios, as well as improve procedures and controls in order to minimise bad debt write offs and maximise recoveries from outstanding debts. As a member owned organisation it is important to support vulnerable members where possible, alongside supporting the financial stability of the Credit Union.
