The draw takes place on the first working day of each month and the money raised is used to assist your Credit Union in growth and development and to provide an improved service to you; the member.
Each month there are 25 winners with the top three prizes being sums of £2000, £1000 and £500. There are also 2 lucky winners of £250, 5 winners of £100 and 15 winners of £50 and in addition to this there is an annual brand new car give away so you never know, your luck really could be in! Last year's winner was North Wales police officer Philip Laing who couldn't believe his luck when he won £50 one month and then a whole lot more the following month!
Phil was the lucky winner of our first ever brand new car draw in September 2007 which he said was more than he ever could have imagined it would be when he got the call to say good fortune was following him!
Phil is now starting to prepare for the latter years of his service in the force but was keen to make sure that this would not affect his membership with the Credit Union. He told us that he has made the most out of his membership in the past with savings and loans and hopes to continue doing so in the future. We wish Phil all the best with his new car and who knows, maybe some of his lucky streak will rub off on the rest of us!
Each member is entitled to a maximum of 10 chances per lottery at £1 per chance. You can have this deducted straight out of your account, we simply add it to your payroll deduction or direct debit contribution.
