It’s that time of year again when many people are looking to start a new chapter, and have their New Year’s resolutions at the ready. “I’m going to save up”, “I’m going to join a gym”, “I’m going to eat clean” – whatever your resolution is, we wish you the best of luck. However, although the intentions are there, a lot of resolutions don’t always happen. If this year you have any New Year’s Resolutions regarding your finances, there is no reason for those to not become reality.

Do you want to save this year? Go on holiday? Or are you just looking to get back on your feet after a difficult 2016? No matter what your financial situation, we can help you.

If your resolution is to save more this year, get it done. If you know how much you can afford to save whilst still living comfortably, get your savings amount adjusted today and watch your money mount up. You can alter your savings amount in the Member’s Area of our website. You can now tick that off your list.

Are you looking to get some of your credit cards, store cards, loans or finance agreements repaid? Or are you even just looking at ways to be able to afford them all after an expensive Christmas? You’re not the only one, don’t worry. It may be beneficial to look at consolidating your debts into one manageable monthly repayment, with one interest rate and one term. Keep a look out for our news update next week that will fully explain consolidation and the things you need to consider.

If we can make your New Year’s Resolutions happen, we would like to help! Remember that your Credit Union is here for you all year round. On that note we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, and we look forward to helping you meet your financial goals during the year ahead.
